This scenario aims to get the students acquainted with the evolution of the orchestra from ancient Greece where it first appeared and its development from the Baroque era to the orchestra of the 20th century. The ancient Greeks contributed significantly to the European history and art. Their works and achievements were admired by the Renaissance people and evolved through the spirit of the Florentine art lovers and laid the foundations for the development of opera and orchestral music. Europe is one big neighbourhood and it is of great importance for students to learn about the work of their neighbours and how it has influenced future generations and continues to be timeless and present. The orchestra is a living example of partnership and understanding. The musicians in the orchestra have an outstanding role. Individually and collectively, they all join together and sail away for the magical journey of the orchestra performance. Each musician could represent a European state and the entire orchestra the whole of Europe. They function autonomously, that is, individually, but this individuality aims at teamwork. No one alone can deliver the team spirit of the final acoustic outcome.en_US
